The article postulates the importance of the subsystem of planned hospitalization for a healthcare organization engaged in scientific activities. The requirements for a prospective subsystem of planned hospitalization have been formulated, while the approach and results of a 2-year operational experience of this subsystem are described against the background of changes in the financing procedure for medical care and changes related to covid-19. Conclusions are drawn about the fundamental role of the subsystem of planned hospitalization in healthcare organization business processes.
