The paper provides an overview of software solutions created between 2018-19 for the integrated information system of the Clinical Oncological Dispensary No.1 in Krasnodar. Health, laboratory, and radiology information systems have been introduced, alongside combined digital archives of medical images. A reference centre for breast pathology based on teleradiology was also organized, and the automatic transmission of images of mobile mammography complexes to the workplaces of radiologists has been provided. Projects have been developed to create artificial intelligence for medicine leading to scientific articles being published. The work of the information technology service of the dispensary has now been optimized, and in two years, new servers, computers, printers, multifunctional devices, barcode scanners, label printers, electronic chip readers, and uninterruptible power supplies have been supplied. The accounting and labelling of the supplied equipment with the application of bar codes has been established, and an electronic queue was implemented in the new registry building. Monitors with audio accompaniment help visitors navigate the paperwork process, and, for the convenience of patients, wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is provided, alongside autonomous stations for charging mobile devices. In the next two years, there is a plan to continue implementing and improving information systems, updating equipment, and training doctors. The plans include a systematic transition to paperless document flow, an increase in the proportion of doctor’s appointments being made electronically, automated tracking of requests for suspected cancer, and integration with federal systems. As a result, we hope to see the creation of a highly effective regional cancer information system.
